Giving Back to the Community
The Woodinville Garden Club has helped fund an urban/school “farming” project called “Leota Grows” at Leota Middle School. Initiated by a special education teacher, Erik Breekha, the Leota Grows project has allowed students to participate in the construction, soil building, planting, watering, maintenance and harvesting of new, wheelchair accessible garden beds.
